easy for our customers to create the most beautiful piece of jewelry.

How to order

We communicate every single step of the process with you so you understand where you are on your Mon Amor journey.

Step 1

Do you already have an imprint, an engraving preview, or other personalized wishes digitally?
Select in the configurator that an imprint already exists, and you can upload the file directly.
Our configurator will guide you through the individual creation of the piece of jewelry all the way to the shopping cart.

Step 2

The payment process can be conveniently completed online via one of our payment providers.
The payment provider automatically generates a payment confirmation, which is sent to the registered email address.
It is not possible to manually trigger a payment confirmation via a payment provider.

Step 3

Please note that only jewelry from the “Personalized with Engraving” category will be sent as a digital sample by email before production begins. For individual pieces of jewelry, we want to have the design approved by the customer in advance. For all other pieces of jewelry, the production process will automatically start after the order and will be carried out according to the preview image on our website.
A preview of the design is only possible if you contact us in advance by email with an additional charge of 5€.

Step 4

The engraving is done with a special laser after the desired impression has been prepared by our applied software.
VeriFinger is a fingerprint identification technology for developers and integrators of biometric systems.
The technology ensures system performance through fast and reliable fingerprint matching in 1-to-1 and 1-to-many modes and creates detailed templates.
After the piece of jewelry is produced, it is polished and photos are taken for quality assurance, which can also be used for your own advertising purposes.

Step 5

It is up to each customer whether the piece of jewelry should be sent in a jewelry box or not.
In any case, it will be securely shipped well-padded by reliable, well-known shipping service providers.
Processing and delivery time is approx. 7-14 days depending on the shipping service provider.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Production Process Q&A

Can I take impressions without a special impression kit?

  • Very simple and easy: we prefer an ink pad on white paper, as it is clearly visible and can therefore be processed best.
  • To achieve a perfect result, the lines should be as fine as possible and clearly visible.
  • If the print is smudged, too dark, or the lines are faintly visible, our experienced design team can still save a lot from the print, ideally we also have several prints to choose from.

We ask for your understanding that an additional charge of €9.99 will be applied for the reconstruction of a print if it requires more time.

 

How do I take an impression?

  • To do this, press your finger lightly onto the ink pad and then lightly onto a white sheet of paper.
    Do not roll your finger.
  • Repeat this process several times, also with your other fingers, so that you have a selection of fingerprints. We will then choose the best print for the laser template.
  • If you don’t have an ink pad, you can also upload another digital print.

Can Plasticine or wax impressions be used?

  • Our experienced design team is very confident and assures you that we can create a template from pretty much any impression and use it for engraving.
  • If you are still unsure about the quality of the impressions, please feel free to contact us without obligation before placing an order to have the impression checked.

How do my prints get to you?

During the ordering process, the prints are uploaded digitally and thus easily and quickly transmitted to us. This is the easiest and fastest method to get the print to our design team.

 

Do you want to have your impressions checked in advance?

We answer all emails in less than 24 hours and are happy to provide feedback before the ordering process is completed.

Will I receive a preview of the piece of jewelry before production or shipping?

We ask for your understanding that a surcharge of €5 will be charged if the reconstruction of an impression takes more time.
