Our Philosophy

Mon Amor is a jewelry brand rooted in Germany. The brand name Mon Amor was inspired by the French expression “Mon Amour” – which means “My Love.” It stands for the love for the people close to us and forever in our hearts. Every person is unique, and it is precisely this uniqueness that we want to preserve with our jewelry pieces.

There is no more personal keepsake – be it a fingerprint, a personal signature, or a drawing as a piece of jewelry.

Through a combination of state-of-the-art production technology and traditional goldsmithing, Mon Amor creates special keepsakes – full of detail, highest quality, and emotional significance. Our jewelry pieces are not only memorial jewelry after a loss but also loving gifts for our loved ones, for occasions such as weddings, Mother’s Day, birthdays, Christmas, or baptisms.

Mon Amor stands for emotional connection, elegant individuality, and the possibility to symbolically carry our loved ones – be it a star child, a life partner, a best friend, one’s own child, or a parent – always with you.

It is important to us to feel as close as possible to people or animals after death, no matter how far away they may seem.

FOUNDING OF MON AMOR

I, Lena Halm, would like to introduce myself and Mon Amor.
Together with my husband Mark and a friend, the first thought came up in 2016, and the idea of founding an online jeweler for individual memorial jewelry, which later became a matter of my heart, was born.
Driven by deep love, connection, and the power of family, the idea arose to create a place of memories. Mon Amor is more than a jewelry brand – it is a matter of the heart that grew out of my own story and the destinies of many others who have experienced a painful loss.

With the support of a special goldsmith, I designed my first piece of jewelry: a necklace with the fingerprint of my deceased baby. When I held my individual jewelry pendant in my hands for the first time, I knew that this was something special and that there is nothing more personal than a unique piece from a loved one.
In that moment, Mon Amor was born – a brand that makes memories tangible and preserves the love for the people who shaped us.

OUR STORY

Sad but not uncommon – a societal taboo topic but so important.

My husband and I had to say goodbye to our first child – a loss that changed our lives forever. In the midst of grief, I searched for things that would not let me forget the wonderful feelings I had.

I wanted to preserve traces of my star child – a fingerprint, handprint, or footprint, as well as the handwriting of a loved one, are as unique as the DNA of every human being – for eternity. A memorial piece of jewelry that you can always carry with you is something very individually personal that exists only once in the world. But nothing on the market met my idea of something so valuable, personal, and unique, which is why Mon Amor was created.

Now I have one child by my hand and one in my heart, but the idea of Mon Amor became a reality.

Our star child will forever remain a part of the family, and through Mon Amor, we want to give other people the opportunity to symbolically carry their loved ones – whether deceased or living – close to them.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to bring people closer on an emotional level to how important it is to think about the future and to be aware of their feelings for their loved ones, whether human or animal.
Our senses allow us to recall moments and memories.
Having a tangible, very individual piece of personalized jewelry made helps us to feel emotions that are preserved in our thoughts through memories and images.

It’s the same when we feel something – our sense of touch subconsciously awakens our memories.
